Matías Prado (1986) studied graphic design but now works almost exclusively as an illustrator. In a short period of time, he has managed to create a unique style that is both edgy and approachable. Just by observing people in their day-to-day routines and surroundings, Matías is able to create micro-worlds that depict multiple stories in just a small page. Matías has worked for several brands and magazines, and has presented his works in different exhibitions around the world, in cities such as Santiago, Madrid, Barcelona, Bologna, and Buenos Aires.

His first book, From Tale to Tale, was published in 2018 by Amanuta, and his new book, The Art Collector, was published by Escrito con tiza in 2022.
